Uncle G Corner & Seecul

I’m home again.
After more than 6 months, I met Isti. We shared each other stories during the time we don’t meet. That was really nice. We are choosing the most popular place in our home town, Sukabumi. They opened the new place which is larger than the main location.
There were 2 brands that I posted in this post. They are typical food court but I think they are a lot better because they match each other. But I saw there were more than 2 brands in this location. Maybe there are 4. But I’m not very sure.
Isti and I ordered our foods from Uncle G Corner. For the beverages we ordered from Seecul. That’s fair enough right?

Uncle G Corner
The reason why we decided to visit Uncle G Corner is meeting the owner of that place. I really want to talk to him for information of this post and his knowledge about food. He is Gerry Girianza, one of great Indonesian Chef. I don’t really know him so well but Isti did. So I thought we could be friends. But unfortunately, one of his worker said that he is on vacation.
Yeah, his worker became our informant now. But he is good actually and let me took his picture and his station.

cute bucket to serve french fries

The most recommended food is ‘Nasi Goreng Kuning Kemangi’. Not just regular fried rice, but it has Indonesian touch. It is rich of spices. I’m so in love and really happy to smell it. It smells really good. I feel like more than being home when I tasted it.
Probably it should be shaped circle, but I asked them to make it good for picture. And you know what, they give me heart shape! Not just the rice but also the cucumber as garnish. That’s so sweet I know. They also gave me a nice little fry pan as a plate to ‘kerupuk’ the side dish.

Isti ordered the other recommended food. It is ‘Chicken Katsu Curry’. It smells so good as well. The spices are also strong. One trick after you order it, don’t be shy to ask for more chili sauce. They will be nice and give it to you. But if you feel enough with the taste, it’s okay to not ask more chili.

Beside everything above, they are also selling snacks. If you don’t really hungry but want to chew something. There are onion rings, spicy chicken wings, French fries, supreme fries, combro and cireng –traditional snacks-.

Seecul
I just realized that Seecul means Street Culture Coffee Bar after see the menus. I actually can’t say much about Seecul because I don’t talk too much with the guy. But he is good as well. There were 4 kinds of beverages that Seecul offered. Espresso base, blended coffee, mix n’ fresh, and blended cream. Mix n’ fresh and blended cream is free coffee so if you don’t like coffee, you can also order these drinks.

I ordered Green Tea Cream and Isti ordered Avocado Cream. I don’t want to take risk to stay all night, that’s why I ordered non coffee product. It tasted quiet good. I can feel the green tea flavor kind of strong. But that’s all I wanted. The avocado cream is also nice but Isti said that’s feels like Pop Ice. I don’t know, maybe that is only a joke. Don’t take it seriously.

Their decoration is also good. One thing I love about it, they had espresso machine which very cool. They are selling desserts as well. There were strawberry layer cake, coffee moffee, pandan jelly cake, and more. There is one product from Uncle G Corner, it is pannacotta. It displayed in Seecul. I don’t know why.

cool espresso machine

That’s all.

She teaches me how to clear up the table :p

That’s all. I’m so happy to have a great time with Isti and I wish you have a great day as well.
