My New Pet (Winter White Hamster and More Info!)

I had always wanted a hamster. But I have a couple of cat at house. Little afraid my cat will hurt my hamster if I have it.
But one day, my friend Ardika offering his hamster for sale. He has a lot of hamster and he sold his hamster with low prices. But he wanted me to take care of the hamster properly. I think this is a good opportunity and of course I accepted his offer.
For the cage I'm not worried, because I already have it plus Hamsterball as accessories. Like I said, I've wanted it for a long time. So here is they are, a pair of winter white hamsters are cute and frisky. They love to running around in their roll. Eat a variety of vegetables, biscuits and beans.

What makes winter white hamster be something unique?

I'm so curious about what makes people want to have this type of hamster. After I have it, I finally understood. They are kind of a friendly hamster. They never bite my hand when they're stay. They form is very small and cute.
But I'm not really familiar with their behaviors. Sometimes they are asleep when I was in the mood to play with them.
Google said that they are the kind of animals that sleep during the day and hunt for food at night. But my friend, Ardika who sold these hamster said if it depends on their habits.

More information that I get from different sources is coat (fur) of winter white hamster can change colors in every different season. This color change is affected by hair pigment changes in hamster species is influenced by genetic and hormone prolactin.
In summer, winter white hamster fur changes from gray to dark brown, sometimes brown or pale. Fur on their faces also turned into gray and brown and the area of the mouth and the ear tends to be brighter. While the outer ear and the eye have black edges.
In winter, winter white hamster fur is usually more dense. And sometimes they have spots gray on their heads. Although known to change color, but this condition can be a little less (rarely) found in hamsters that live in captivity.

But I dont know it can happen in Indonesia or not. Because Indonesia is a tropical country and I never knew when rain comes. lol

Last definite least, I have one video on my second channel which is RandomofMareth08. Introduce my new pet. If you have the time, please check it out. click here to watch! :)
